The cat sits on top of a heartbeat line like its done a runner from the hospital monitor, lounging there with this grumpy half-squinting face and lil paw-print flowers floating above its head. Below the EKG line the text reads cat mom in big solid block letters, with a heart shape sitting right where the O should be. Its subtle enough that you have to look twice, which is exactly the right amount of clever for a cat person.
Everything runs in one colour, no thread changes at all. Knock out all nine sizes in a single session if you want a run of matching pieces. The bold block text is the densest section of the design, 14,688 stitches at the largest 4-inch size, so the letters really sit up off the fabric with good definition. One colour also lets you match whatever fabric youre working on and make it look intentional rather than stuck with a preset palette.
Im actually suprised how often this one sells for things outside the obvious. I thought it was a tshirt design but a customer messaged me a few weeks back with a photo of it stitched on a black canvas zip pouch in white thread. Looked genuinely sharp, like something from a boutique cat-themed shop. She said her friend has 4 cats and lost it when she saw the gift.
Works on almost any fabric: cotton jersey, denim, canvas, even felt if youre making a cat-shaped pouch or bag. Use topping film on jersey to keep the letters crisp. Pick the chest-3.5 for a tshirt left chest. Skip the 1.89-inch on thick denim, the cat face detail gets lost at that density on a heavy weave. Dm me if the stitch out looks off and Ill sort it fast.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
