Two little lads sitting together, not touching but close enough to be mates. The cat is on the left, proper ginger tabby colouring with cream belly, pink inner ears and a wide open mouth showing off tiny teeth. Eyebrows raised, eyes popping out big and round. The puppy on the right is brown with warm tan face patches and a softer more relaxed expression, head a bit lower than the cat, mouth closed in a gentle smirk. Seriously cute pair.
16 colours, really high detail. Smallest size is 3.12 by 3.5 inches at 32,167 stitches, biggest is 6.67 by 7.5 inches and runs to 82,070 stitches. The fur texture on both animals uses layered directional fills, the ginger cat has short-run stitch rows on the face to suggest striping and the puppy has a looser fill for the softer breed look. Satin column ears on the pup and tight density on the cats face whisker marks. Both faces are done with proper underlay beneath the surface fills.
I get pings for this from people with both a cat and a dog at home. Lotta couples who want matching tees or a cushion that represents both their pets. One customer wrote me last week saying she and her partner each got a tee with this design and gave them as anniversary gifts to each other. Thats kinda wonderful really, I wasnt expecting that use case when I made it.
Works well on white, cream, light grey and pale sage. The warm ginger and brown tones need a neutral or pale ground to read clearly, theres not enough contrast built in to survive dark fabric. Dark cloth loses the puppy detail around the face, the warm tan marking against navy for instance just disappears and youre left with half a design. Try the smaller sizes on a cushion or tote bag if ya want something more subtle than a full tee.
Dense design, 1,641 density rating, so a firm cutaway stabiliser is non-negotiable here especially on any stretch fabric. Hoop tight and dont rush the colour changes, 16 stops means patience pays off. Use a topping on towelling or velvet if you want to place it on something textured, the satin ear fills need the surface flat to stitch cleanly.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
