Its a solid cat silhouette sitting straight up with its tail curled around its feet and a small heart sitting just above its head. Thats the whole thing, simple, graphic, and instantly recognisable. The cat form has pointed ears and a rounded body and the heart sits close enough that it reads as part of the composition, not just floating randomly nearby.
And its only 1 colour total so youre not swapping thread at all, just pick your colour, hoop your fabric, and let it run. Stitch counts are low, 3,759 on the smallest 1.12 inch version up to 9,214 on the 2.39 inch. Five sizes in that range, all narrow and tall because the sitting cat shape is naturally portrait oriented.
Last winter a customer batched 30 personalised tote bags for cat-themed gift orders. Last christmas Ive had people ordering batches of 5 and 6 for homemade gifts for friends in their cat group chats, kinda love that idea. Place tearaway under woven fabrics like cotton or linen since the stitch count is low and tearaway cleans up easily without fighting the fabric.
Works on basically anything, cotton, linen, fleece, felt, even small hat panels since the sizes are compact. The 1.12 inch version sits nicely on a collar point, a sock cuff, or a corner pocket. Pick a contrasting thread colour and the silhouette reads clean and bold even at that tiny size.
Try it on a canvas zipper pouch, a cat collar tag, or as a row of 3 across a tote bag for a pattern look. The low stitch count means fast stitching and low wear on your needle.

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

- Cotton onesie chest patchTiny enough to sit on a newborn onesie chest without looking crowded, sweet for cat-loving new parents.
- Personalised pet gift pouchOn a muslin drawstring pouch with a cats name added it becomes a genuinely personal pet-themed gift.
- Shirt collar or sleeve cuffThe smallest 1.12 inch version fits neatly on a shirt collar point or a sock cuff for a subtle cat detail.
- Hat panel front designSits well on a structured cap front panel without distorting the brim during hooping.
- Cat lover greeting card hoopStitch it on linen, frame in a small hoop, and add it to a card or gift bag tag for cat-loving friends.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
