Gnomes for halloween, I know. But I get messages all the time asking for designs that are festive without being scary, and this trio hits that spot. Three lil gnomes side by side, each with a different coloured hat, lined up like they're celebrating together, which is exactly the vibe people want for a kids room or a family kitchen.
The design is wide and short, 3.53 inches across, only 1.72 inches tall, so it fits like a banner across a pillowcase border, a table runner panel, or the bib of an apron. At 10,547 stitches with nine colour stops you are definitely swapping thread but the density is 269 so each section is solid and tight. Digitised in industry software. Use a cutaway stabiliser, the density here needs proper backing or youll get buckling on the beard satin areas. Stitch the hat sections before the beard fills, the sequencing in this file already does that but check your colour order before you start. Skip dark fabric unless you want to run a topping film over the white beard areas.

The satin on the gnome beards is directional, turn the hoop slightly toward horizontal for the best sheen angle if your machine supports it.
Its a wide design so pair it with a 4x4 or 5x7 hoop for easy placement, then position along the lower edge or bib line of whatever youre decorating.
