Two dragons locked together in a circular medallion, each one biting at the other like theyve been at it for a few thousand years. The bodies are thick ribbon-like forms that weave over and under in proper celtic interlace style, wings flared wide, tails wrapping the whole composition into a tight circle. Jaw open on the top dragon, the bottom one mirroring back. Its symmetrical and confrontational at the same time.

3 colours in the file: black for the bulk of the body mass, white highlight panels that give the ribbon layers their over-under depth, and a mid-grey for the shading between em. Thats it. The digitising on this one was a proper job, my embroidery software handled the directional stitching so the wing surfaces actually read as feathered panels rather than flat black blobs. 5 sizes total, smallest is 3.39 inches wide and the biggest pushes to 7.27 by 7.5 inches. Stitch count runs from 21,162 up to 50,472 on the largest.

I get a bunch of orders for this from tattoo shop owners who digitise their flash art onto merch. One shop owner in october dropped me a note saying the grey shading came out sharper than he expected on black denim, which honestly suprised me too because grey on black is tricky. Its one of those cases where the underlay really does all the work. Drop me a line if the 50k stitch count on the 7-inch feels like alot for your machine and Ill walk ya through the settings.

Use a cutaway stabiliser behind black denim or heavy canvas for the big sizes, the density sits at 926 and the interlace sections layer up quickly. Hoop tight. Compact 3.5 inch fits cap front cleanly or a cotton tee where tearaway works fine. Pick a plain black or charcoal background where the white highlights punch out. Avoid mid-tone fabrics like tan or grey fleece because the thread contrast drops and all that whimsical knotwork detail just disappears.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
