Baby bibs are where I first tested this design and it just clicked. The 3.39 inch drops onto a standard bib shape with room either side, and the bold black satin lettering reads instantly even on a small terry cotton panel. Cheerful without being babyish, which is rare for a "kindness" type design. Its the kind of thing a new mum orders for a gift and ends up wanting on her own tote bag too.

So the design: "BEE KIND" arches across the top in chunky black block lettering with a subtle raised shadow in the satin, genuinely impressive up close. Below it sits a large honeybee, the body done in alternating black and golden yellow satin stripes across the abdomen, a coral-centred yellow daisy right on the thorax, and the wings filled with directional tatami fill that mimics the look of real vein texture. Not flat at all. Wrapping underneath is a half-wreath of spring flowers, coral tulips, sky blue round daisies with yellow centres, salmon pink blooms, yellow button daisies, all rising from green stems and leaf sprigs. Alot going on, in the best way. The stitch count at the largest 7.25 inch runs to 34,398 so its genuinely a complex piece.

I digitised it using industry digitising tools and the underlay sequencing matters here. A customer sent me a photo last week of hers done on a cream linen tote and the satin sections were flawless, so cutaway stabiliser really does make the difference. You will also want a cutaway on jersey or fleece because theres so much dense satin packed in and the fabric will pull without it. On denim canvas a tearaway works fine but add a water-soluble topping over the flowers so those satin petals stay crisp. Bobbin tension is worth double-checking before a full run as the density sits at 633 per the file specs. And cut your jump stitches as you go, because between the flower clusters theres quite a few of em. Hoop your garment snug and dont reposition mid-stitch or the lettering registration will shift.

Honestly my favourite application is a natural canvas tote, the coral and sky blue flowers just pop off that warm cream weave in a way thats hard to beat. Stitch the ~6.3 inch centred on the front panel, use a cutaway back for stability on the canvas seams, and press gently from the reverse when its done. Skip the iron directly on the embroidered surface or you will flatten all that raised satin texture.

Shoot me a message if your format isnt in the pack.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Baby bibThe 3.39 inch drops onto a bib without crowding it, and the bee reads immediately even on small terry cotton.
  • Canvas tote bagHonestly my favourite spot for this one, the coral and sky blue flowers just sing against natural canvas weave.
  • Adult sweatshirtTote bags take the ~6.3 inch nicely, but sweatshirts are where the ~5.3 inch really shines on soft fleece.
  • Teacher gift pouchA crafter who ordered it last month put the 3.39 inch on a zippered pouch and said it came out perfect on navy canvas.
  • Denim jacket back panelDenim jacket backs can handle the full 7.25 inch if you hoop carefully and use cutaway for any stretch zones.
  • Linen apronOn a linen apron the ~5.3 inch keeps the satin lettering crisp against that open weave, really clean result.
  • Kids tee chestKids love the bee design on a tee, the 3.39 inch fits a chest spot on a size 4-6 without overwhelming the shirt.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
