Its a big bunch of heart-shaped balloons all squished together like someone just let go of the string at a valentines day party. Three shades of red and pink across the hearts, some deep crimson, some a softer blush, some almost cream coloured, and then a few paler grey-white ones that look like theyre sitting behind the brighter ones in the cluster. The clouds are these soft rounded puffs on either side that kinda anchor the whole thing without competing with the hearts. Each balloon has its own directional satin fill with a highlight stripe running across the top, like a proper shiny foil balloon. Its the kind of thing that looks complicated but the my main software digitising keeps it clean and consistent across all five sizes. Nine colour changes in the file but the machine pauses are manageable.
I sell a bunch of these to small valentine boutique owners round december and january who want something to stitch on gift bags, tote liners and little coin purse panels. One customer who runs a pop-up gift stall told me she stitched the 3.09-inch version on cream linen bags and they sold out in 2 hours. Thats the kind of feedback I love getting. She's ordered the file four times since, which I reckon says it all.
Use a mesh topping over terry cloth or waffle textures to stop the satin columns sinking into the weave. Stitch on white, cream or pale blush fabric so the colour range shows fully. Pair with cutaway stabiliser for anything stretchy, tearaway is fine on firm woven cotton. Pop the smallest 1.96-inch on a coin purse or bookmark and save the full 7.5-inch for a tote front or cushion cover.
