An open book lying flat with a big burst of pink flowers and green leaves shooting straight up out of the pages. The book itself has that warm tan cream of old paper pages fanning out on both sides, with a lil purple-blue spine at the bottom. Out of the centre comes a thick stem of bright green leaves splaying in all directions and about nine pink daisy-type flowers with mustard yellow centres scattered through at different heights. The whole thing reads like a visual metaphor for stories coming alive. But honestly it also just looks really nice on a tote bag.

Six colours: cream paper tones, the blue-purple spine, hot pink flowers, mustard centres, bright green foliage. The foliage is the busiest section, lots of oval leaf shapes overlapping, and the stitching directions change per leaf so they dont all merge into one green blob. At just over 20k stitches at top 7.5 size size its manageable, not a heavy design. And the 3.5-inch smallest runs at around 1.5k so its a quick job on small items like coin purses or book corner patches.

I get messages from teachers and school librarians more than anyone else with this one. One customer told me she stitched it on canvas pouches for her class bookclub and the kids really responded to it. Theres something about books-with-flowers that lands with readers of all ages, Im not gonna argue with the data on that.

Stitch on cream, white or pale grey cotton for the clearest colours. Pop the 5-inch on a canvas tote bag, the 3.5 hoop on a pencil case or book bag patch. Use tearaway stabiliser on woven fabrics. The flower centres are small satin columns so go slow on those sections to keep coverage clean.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
