This charming little guy is really popular with the kids room and nursery crowd. Ten colours in this design: rusty orange body, soft tan wing edges, a white chest, grey-blue shading, warm yellow feet, and those big black-pupil eyes set in yellow irises that just make it kinda impossible not to like. Its got a whimsical quality I was going for specifically, not a naturalistic bird portrait but something with more personality. A customer told me last february she ordered it for a baby shower gift and the mum burst into tears, said it was the cutest thing on the whole gift table.
Five sizes from 4.43 x 4.51 inches up to 8.36 x 8.51 inches, stitch count going from 28,003 to 57,590 at the top. Density at 809 means its more breathable than some of the heavier digitising I do, which is good news if youre putting it on a knit fabric or a softer material like fleece. Use a floating stabiliser rather than hooping directly on delicate fabrics, and the satin blocks on the chest area stay crisp if you use a topping on anything with a pile. Stitch a 6-inch run on a cream cotton pillow cover for the best colour payoff. Add the topping on any fleece or minky and the yellow eye irises stay defined instead of sinking into the pile. Pick a lighter fabric colour so the rusty orange really pops against it.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
