This is the full santa figure, not just a face or a hat, the whole classic character from the red jacket and big black belt down to the boots. The proportions are that traditional round jolly look, wide body, big laugh lines on the face, fluffy white beard and eyebrows, rosy cheeks. Seven colours make up the full design and each one does real work in the character, its not a rushed palette.

Stitch counts go from 19,686 on starting small up to 52,418 on the largest, so at the top end this is a long stitch job. Density is 1,095 per square inch which means the suit sections come out looking very solid and the white beard areas build up properly. I dont rush the bigger sizes, good prep makes the difference on a high-count piece like this, and honestly its worth the time.

Customers love send me photos of this one on christmas sweaters, I think I see it more than any other design in my december messages. A customer in november told me she stitched it on matching navy sweatshirts for herself and her two daughters as a christmas morning tradition piece, all three wearing the same one while they opened gifts. That kind of thing keeps me digitising.

Five sizes from 3.5 inches wide by 2.98 tall up to 7.5 by 6.38 inches. The wider landscape shape means it sits well centred on a sweatshirt chest without going too tall. Use cutaway behind fleece or knit, tearaway on woven cotton or canvas. Hoop snug and use topping on any loopy fabric surface.

Stitch it on navy, forest green, charcoal or cream. Pick a slower machine speed through the dense fill sections to keep the satin coverage even.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
