Two bells, a ribbon bow, holly on the sides. Classic christmas composition stitched with a lot more depth than you usually see at this price point. The bell bodies arent flat satin, theres a shading layer on the curves that makes them look three-dimensional when you hold the finished piece up to the light. Seven colors in total, red berries done in small satin dot clusters that pop against the green holly.
This is a high stitch count design. The smallest sits at 20,564 stitches at 3.06 inches wide, the largest goes up to 54,801 stitches at 6.54 inches. Thats a lot of thread for a 6-inch design, so dont rush the machine speed on this one. Hoop polymesh underneath on stretchy fabric, use firm cutaway on felt or fleece. The density is 1,116 stitches per square centimetre so the fabric needs proper backing or youll get distortion.
I get orders for this design every november from people making christmas stockings. Use the full 6.54-inch size centered on the stocking front, nothing else needed. For napkins, stitch the 3.06-inch version in each corner for a matching set. Skip dark backgrounds; the gold bells need a light or mid-tone fabric to read properly. Wash it when youre done, it holds. Email me if the bells dont register cleanly on your machine and Ill troubleshoot with you.
Five sizes, 3.06" x 3.51" to 6.54" x 7.51". All 8 formats included. Download arrives straight after payment.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Christmas stocking front panel, full placementThe 6.54-inch size fills a stocking front properly, center it and the proportions work without needing a border.
- Holiday table napkins and cloth setsUse the smaller 3.06-inch size repeated in the corner of each napkin for a matching christmas table set.
- Festive tea towels and kitchen linenTea towel corner placement in the 3.5-inch range gives a clean accent without dominating the fabric.
- Christmas throw pillow coversCream or gold pillow covers let the 7-color palette read in full, avoid dark backgrounds for this design.
- Gift bags and wrapped presentsCotton gift bags take the design well with cutaway stabiliser, the bells add a handmade quality to wrapped gifts.
- Advent calendar panels and wall hangingsAdvent panels and wall hangings benefit from the large size where the shading detail in the bells really shows.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
