Two candles, a full wreath of leaves, pale stitched veins running through each one. The layout centres itself compactly, the kind you can stitch on a wool sweater front without it taking over the whole garment. The candle flames are red at the base with the wick sitting above, the holders are that warm amber yellow, and the leaves use 2 shades of green with fine white stitch lines cut through them. Its more refined than your average christmas design and it works well on darker fabrics because of the colour contrast.

I ran the 4.51 inch size hooped on a dark green canvas bag for a customer a few weeks back, she wanted something for her mum, and the leaf detail came through clearly even on the textured surface. Pop a medium cutaway stabiliser under canvas or wool. Dont use tearaway here, the leaf underlay needs something solid behind it or those pale stitches will pull. 5 colours, 4 colour changes: 2 greens, yellow, red, white. Stitch density 519 across the design area.

the digitising software laid the leaf fill at opposing directional angles so the 2 greens read as distinct even where they meet at the wreath edges. Smallest size is 6,423 stitches at 3.51 by 2.45 inches, largest runs 17,828 stitches at 7.01 by 4.90 inches. The white vein stitches are narrow satin columns that stay crisp at every size in the set.

Stitch it on a dark wool sweater, run it on a linen table runner, or pair it with other holiday designs on a quilted panel. Email me if you have a size request outside the 5 included sizes and Ill check what I can do for you.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
