So this is a lil chubby ghost design, white body wrapped head to toe in a string of red and green Christmas bulbs, sitting there reading an open aqua book like its the most normal thing in the world. The Santa hat tips forward over one eye, the pompom dangles, and those thick black outlines hold it all together so it reads super clean on fleece or knit. Bookish kid energy, basically.

Four colours total, aqua book + red hat + green bulbs + black for the outline run, which does the heavy lifting at 5,499 stitches on the smallest 2.89-inch version. Stitch range goes from 7,754 at the small size right up to 18,613 at the 7.51-inch tall one. Density runs around 400 so the satin holds shape on cotton fleece without warping that page detail. And Ive digitised the whole thing in the software I use with directional underlay on the curves of the body, which is why the outline wont jog when you stitch it big.

One customer ordered the medium 4.51-inch version for her sons reading-corner pillow last December. She used a cream cotton-linen blend, medium cutaway stabiliser underneath, and 40wt poly on top with a black bobbin for cleaner backside. Im told she sent a photo Christmas morning and her kid was sleeping on it.

Pop the small 2.89-inch on a kids pyjama chest pocket. Use the 4.5-inch on a library tote in natural canvas. But avoid heavy fleece on the smallest size, the black outline gets too dense and the book pages lose definition. Hoop firmly with a layer of water-soluble topping on terry or waffle weave, and youll wanna run slower on the outline pass to keep alot of register on those eyes.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
