The gnome is basically just a hat and a beard and a big round body, which is the formula, and this one nails it. Tall red conical hat with a gold star accent, fluffy white-grey beard taking up half the face, no visible eyes which is very on-brand for gnome design. He sits cross-legged in navy blue trousers, tan little hands visible at the sides, and hes clutching a small green christmas tree to his chest like he just found it and doesnt plan to let go. Gold star on top of the tree, little yellow dot lights on the branches. The sort of design thats hard to resist.
Twelve colours and a density of 1342 means this is one of the denser builds in the catalog. At 64k stitches on the 6.44-inch large size, plan for a full stitch-out session. The beard is the most complex section, professional embroidery software ran multiple underlay passes beneath the fluffy white satin fill to keep it from sinking. Hooped correctly on firm woven cotton or twill, the dimensional look holds up well after washing. Directional stitching on the gnome body makes the round shape read solid rather than flat.
My clients who make holiday home decor items go for the gnome above most others in my catalog, honestly. Gnome cushions, door hangers, tree skirts, the character works broadly because gnomes dont carry gender or facial expression that limits the audience. Cut the sewing time if ya hoop the biggest size on thick canvas rather than trying to embroider multiple small repeats. Back it with medium cutaway under stretch fabric, 64k stitches will pull light jersey sideways without it.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
