This gnome is abit different from the usual lot. The hat is striped like a candy cane, white and red horizontal bands all the way up the cone, which gives it a more graphic pop-art feel compared to the solid red versions. The body is a pale mint-aqua, not the usual grey, so it reads differently on darker fabrics. And both hands are holding a strand of oversized round string lights, the big globe kind, in orange, yellow, green and blue on a thick black cord, all tangled and looping around the figure.
9 colour stops total across the hat stripes, beard, nose, torso, mittens, feet and all those light bulb colours. Stitch count starts at 6,625 at the smallest 2.5 inch size and climbs to 22,316 at 6.47 inches wide. Lower stitch density for a multi-colour design, so it doesnt need heavy stabilising. Use a light tear-away on cotton wovens or a light cutaway on knit jersey for the kids sweatshirt sizes. Its got strong satin-fill black outlines so it holds up on both light and dark backgrounds and you wont need a topping on wovens.
Last holiday season I had a customer order this one 5 times for a set of christmas stockings she was making for her grandkids. Stitch it at 5 inches on a sweatshirt and see how fast people ask about it. Works really well on mug rugs too, especially if you go with the compact 2.5 inch size.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
