Two gnomes crammed into the cab of a cherry-red vintage pickup, hats practically touching the roof of the truck. The bigger one looks like hes steering, the smaller one just along for the ride. Back of the truck is piled with pine branches, a couple of wrapped boxes and what looks like a big round wreath sitting on top. Its that classic holiday truck scene, but the gnomes make it a lil different.
The truck is a flat cherry red with a cream-coloured bumper and a dark grey grille. Gnome hats are the tall floppy kind, one in a dusty rose and one in a deep forest green. Faces are just little beige circles with a pink nose poking out, no eyes, no mouth, just the nose, very traditional gnome treatment. The pine branches in the truck bed have mustard-yellow star ornaments tucked in, which gives the top of the design a nice warm glow against all that green.
And the whole thing reads really well as a chest piece on a holiday sweatshirt, thats how most people seem to use it. A customer messaged me in november saying she wanted something for her family christmas tees and this was the one she kept coming back to. She grabbed both sizes and stitched the larger one on adult hoodies and the smaller on a kids crewneck. Said it came out exactly how she hoped.
Best on a natural linen colour or a cream sweatshirt, the red truck really pops against light fabric. Use it on a dark navy or forest green tee and the truck still works but youll want the outlines to carry it. Skip super-light-coloured gnome hats on white fabric, theres not enough contrast there. Pair it with a plain red or green ribbon finish on the hoop for gifting.
Two sizes available, 3.83 inches wide up to 5.22 wide and between 5.5 and 7.5 tall. At 41k to 55k stitches and 11 colours its a dense piece, so give yourself a good stabiliser base. professional digitising software did the digitising and the colour registration on those pine needles is clean. About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
