Three colors, zero fuss. A big red bow takes up the middle with four thick looping tails spreading outward. Behind it dark green holly leaves fan out, spiky and pointed the way holly always is. Black stems and round little berries sit right at the center where the bow knot ties together. Thats the whole design, simple, traditional, the kind of thing that just works on nearly everything without fighting the base fabric.
Stitch counts run from 17,925 on the smaller end up to 48,639 at the full 5.5 inch size. Only 2 color changes, which keeps machine time down and threading straightforward. Pop firm tearaway behind most woven fabric and youre set. On stretchy sweatshirt knit, go cutaway instead. Skip very dark base colors unless you want to lay a light underlay first, the holly can disappear against a dark ground without it.
Honestly this is probably my most versitile christmas design. Its small enough for pocket patches and large enough for bag fronts, and because its only 3 thread colors you can swap the red for gold or navy and the whole thing recolours instantly. A customer this season stitched it in burgundy and cream on canvas bags for a craft fair and said it sold faster than everything else on the table. Text me if you need a colour substitution suggestion and I can point you in the right direction.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
