The heart is drawn in lights. Not filled in, not solid, just the outline traced by a string of Christmas bulbs going around the whole shape. Round bulbs at even intervals, colours alternating, wire running between them in a clean curve. Its the kind of design where you look at it and immediately know what it is but theres something a bit unexpected about it because you dont usually see a heart shape done this way.
Eight colours total and the file came out of professional tools so each bulb is a proper satin column with underlay keeping it round. Stitch count is on the lighter side, 3968 at the smallest size and 9901 at the biggest, which is nice because it means fast stitching and less stress on delicate fabrics like linen or jersey knit. I made this one thinking about valentines day but it realy works all december too. Theres something about christmas lights and a heart together that just reads as warm and cosy rather than romantic-romantic. One customer used it on matching pyjama sets for a mum and daughter christmas gift and sent me photos, they turned out really nice on white cotton.
Place it centered on a chest or pocket. The proportions are nearly square (2.17 to 5.64 wide, 2.5 to 6.5 tall) so it sits well on a tote, a pillow or a onesie front. Use a medium cutaway under jersey or fleece. Tear-away is fine on firm cotton or canvas. Skip topping unless your fabric is very textured, the outline style needs the bulbs to read clearly.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
