This christmas light wreath design uses sparse pine branches to form a loose open ring. Eight round glass-style bulbs sit along those gaps, the old school kind with the little metal cap on top. Red, yellow, orange, blue, purple, white and warm gold alongside deep green pine. Honestly it looks like someone raided their grandmas vintage ornament box. I get messages every november from customers asking if this is the one with the round bulbs not the pointy kind, and yes, its the round ones.
Its the sparseness that makes it work. Density sits low at around 277 stitches per square centimetre which means the whole piece feels light and flexible on fabric rather than stiff. Stitch count runs from 5,737 on the smallest 3.4 inch version up to 15,159 at 7.3 inches. Eight colour changes but the machine pauses are quick because each bulb section is small. my digitising suite handled the digitising and those round bulb shapes come through clean, they arent distorting into ovals on stitch-out.
Use a tear-away stabiliser on firm cotton or canvas twill. The open design means theres no heavy fill section putting strain on the hoop, so registration stays tight even on lighter fabrics like cream linen. Hoop snug and trim any jump stitches between bulb colours before finishing. Last christmas there were quite a few orders for this one from mums doing personalised holiday aprons as last minute gifts.
Try it on white, cream or pale grey fabric and all 8 colours really pop. The 3.4-inch version fits a shirt pocket or a stocking cuff perfectly. Send a chat message if the file dont open and ill sort it quick.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
