Knocked out this christmas llama with santa hat and its got that slightly goofy cheerful energy that works realy well for holiday stuff. The llama is facing forward, fluffy white coat, big round dark eyes, pink nose, with a red and white santa hat sitting tilted on its head. The hat is the punchline of the whole thing, its clearly too small and sitting at an angle. Fun without trying too hard. Six colours total: white coat, red hat, hat band white, pink nose, dark eye, and a little accent shade.

Four sizes from about 2.5 inches wide up to 5.5 inches wide. Heights are shorter here, running only 1.55 to 3.39 inches because llamas have that wide horizontal body shape. Stitch counts from about 4,000 up to 9,572 on the biggest so its a moderate file. Use tearaway stabiliser on cotton and canvas, cutaway on knit sweatshirts. The fluffy coat look comes from a looped topping technique in the digitising so try topping on velour or fleece fabrics to preserve that texture detail.

A customer last december was suprised how well this came out on a white cotton tee for her kid, she said she recieved more comments on it than any other christmas shirt in the family. The llama thing is genuinely funny to people who have never seen it as an embroidery piece before. First christmas llama shirt. Unexpected hit.

Stitch on cream, white, red, or pale green for the best contrast. Skip dark charcoal fabric, the white coat detail needs a contrasting background to read clearly. Use the 4-inch centre on adult tees, the 2.5 or 3 inch on kids shirts and baby onesies. Pair with a plain text below like Fa La La Llama if you want to add words around it.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
