Its a mistletoe. Not a redesigned one, not a modern abstract version. Just the classic hanging sprig that people actually recognise, which is honestly what most florists and christmas apparel sellers have been asking me for. Forest green leaf clusters fanning out from a central stem, small bright red berries bunched in groups at the tips, and a lil red bow sitting right at the top where youd tie the ribbon to hang it over a doorway.

The leaf fills use directional stitching so the satin lays along the length of each leaf. And thats what gives it that slightly shiny, pressed-botanical look rather than a flat painted blob. The berries are round satin columns, tight and dense so they read as proper circular shapes even on the small 2.5-inch size. Just 2 colours total, one colour change, so the machine time stays short and the thread swap is quick.

I get a bunch of orders for this one in late october and early november from shop owners who do holiday custom apparel. One florist customer up in vermont told me she had this stitched on kraft-coloured linen aprons for her whole staff last christmas, which honestly I thought was a great call. Looks proper against the natural fabric.

Stitch on cream linen, natural canvas, white cotton or oatmeal fleece for the cleanest result. Skip mid-toned green fabric because the forest green body just disappears. Use a light tearaway stabiliser on stable wovens, cutaway on any jersey or stretch. The biggest 6.5-inch makes a proper statement on a tote bag front panel or a table runner border.

Hit me up if something looks off with the download or you cant get the file to open in your software.

  • Seasonal market vendor apronsAdd to white drill aprons for seasonal pop-up vendor events, keeps branding simple and recognisable.
  • Kids christmas party teesSew the 2.5-inch on a white tee chest pocket for a kids christmas event or school party outfit.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
