Drew this one specifically with nurses and healthcare workers in mind because I kept seeing the same generic christmas scrub top designs and thought the stethoscope heart concept deserved something cleaner. The stethoscope tubing forms the heart shape, the ear tubes come up from the top centre and the Y-junction sits right at the top of the heart. Left lower lobe carries a pair of gold bells in brown/orange satin with holly sprigs and red berries wrapped round the stem. Right side has 2 candy canes crossed at an angle, theres a cluster of round peppermint disc circles alongside, and more holly tucked in. The diaphragm chest piece at the very bottom carries a red peppermint circle on the face. Its a tight little composition that wont feel cluttered even at small sizes.
Five colours: black for the tubing, red for candy cane stripes and berries, dark green for holly leaves, brown and orange for the bells. Density is 385 which sits on the lighter side, so it stitches out fast. Only 4 colour changes and 43 trims at the smallest size. My friend who works emergency stitched the 4.5-inch version onto a navy scrub top and it sits just right on the chest pocket area, not too big, clean and recognisable. Im running the black tubing in a tight satin column so the heart outline stays crisp even at the 2.84-inch smallest size. Pop a topping on textured scrub poly if you want the bell satin to read smooth. Stitch the smaller sizes on chest pockets for a discreet seasonal touch.
Five sizes, 2.84 up to 6.08 inches wide. Stitches run from 8,110 to 17,565. Run a layer of tearaway stabiliser under the fabric before you hoop it, the stitching is light enough that tearaway handles it well on cotton and poly-cotton scrub fabric. Dm me if somethings off and I'll get it looked at.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
