This is a forest, not a single tree. The whole frame is full of overlapping pine shapes in varying heights, compressed together like an actual stand of trees at the treeline. No sky, no ground detail, just the interlocked silhouettes from bottom to top. Two colors, deep green and black, and the density is what makes it feel substantial rather than flat.

The stitch count is high. At 5.63 inches wide and 7.5 inches tall the largest comes out at 57,156 stitches, thats a long run for a home machine so give the file time and dont push the speed. Smallest size is 2.63 x 3.5 inches at 17,977 stitches. Density sits at 1,354 stitches per square centimetre which is why the forest reads as textured and full rather than sparse. Pulled this file together over a long Sunday and that density is intentional. Lay no-show cutaway underneath on anything that has any give, it needs proper backing to hold all that coverage without distortion.

I get messages mostly from people doing outdoor-style items, jacket backs, heavy canvas totes, fleece blankets for camping or hiking gifts. The forest aesthetic is year-round, honestly. Its a christmas design by origin but stitch it on dark green or navy canvas and it just reads as a nature scene, youre not limited to december with this one. Pop it on the back panel of a work vest or utility jacket. Use it on a heavy wool-blend blanket for a proper wilderness-style gift. Stitch it on a denim tote and it comes out different to what you expect, really graphic.

Five sizes, 2.63" x 3.50" to 5.63" x 7.50". All 8 formats, instant download after payment.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Outdoor and hiking gifts, fleece blankets and throwsFleece blankets for camping or hiking gifts, hoop polymesh under the fleece and keep machine speed moderate.
  • Jacket backs and utility vest panelsJacket back panels in the large 5.63-inch size give a proper outdoor-brand feel on canvas or waxed cotton.
  • Heavy canvas tote bags with nature aestheticHeavy canvas tote bags in natural or dark olive show the two-color forest design at its best contrast.
  • Denim and workwear projectsDenim jeans back pockets or jacket yokes, the graphic density reads differently on denim than on plain fabric.
  • Christmas stockings, full front panelChristmas stocking front panel at full size, centered, is a dramatic placement that doesnt need anything else.
  • Wall art hoop frames for winter decorMounted in a 7-inch or 8-inch hoop frame for wall display as winter nature decor that works well past december.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
