My mum stitched this one up on a cotton cushion cover last christmas and honestly it came out better than I expected. Its a heart shape outlined in thick dark green satin, and the inside is completely packed with poinsettia flowers, holly leaves with their spiky points, little red berries on stems, and tiny star-shaped florets dotted throughout. No empty space inside the heart at all, just a dense botanical arrangement thats somehow all 3 colours: dark green, red and white. Back it with a proper cutaway stabiliser, this one has 66 to 74 trims depending on the size and the density is high enough that tearaway would pull.
5 sizes from 3.2 inches wide to top 7-in wide. Smallest is 13,368 stitches, largest is 32,612. Only 2 colour changes which is suprisingly few for how detailed it looks, so the colour swap sequence goes fast. Because the fill is so dense its digitised to minimise jumps inside the botanical sections, which means your bobbin usage is higher than youd expect. Load a full bobbin before you start.
White cotton is where this shines best. I also seen it stitched on cream linen and it looked brilliant. Skip dark backgrounds, the red flowers disappear completely on burgundy or navy. Stitch the 5 inch piece for tea towel, the 7.5 inch on a cushion front, or the 3.2 inch version on a canvas tote for gift-giving. Use a topping on any fabric with texture so the holly leaf outlines stay crisp.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
