Two lil creatures sitting next to each other wearing matching christmas hats, and theyre absolutely ridiculous in the best way. The puppy on the left is a french bulldog type, black and white markings, giant blue saucer eyes, tiny pink nose. He has a hot pink bow tie at his chest which shouldnt work but it does. The kitten on the right is grey with faint tabby lines and an equally huge stare, wrapped in a pink and white striped candy-cane scarf that bunches around her neck.

Both santa hats are the same style, a tall drooping red cone with the teal cyan fur trim wrapping the base and a matching teal pompom flopping at the tip. That teal is the thing that makes this design feel a bit different from every other christmas pets design out there. Its not the standard red and white, its got a bit more colour personality. The eyes use a ringed fill with a dark pupil and white catchlight dot which industry-grade software handles cleanly in the satin column sections.

Five sizes in the pack. Smallest is 2.13 by 3.5 inches, biggest runs 4.55 by 7.5 inches. One customer messaged saying she ordered this for matching christmas jumpers for her dog and the family, she put the biggest size on an adult sweatshirt and a smaller one on the dog bandana. I thought that was a realy good idea. Use a firm cutaway stabiliser at the larger sizes, theres 42k stitches and the density is set at 1,257 per inch so the fill is solid. Avoid flimsy tear-away on the big hoop, it wont hold the underlay flat.

Hoop the fabric snug and check your thread tension before you start the eye sections, thats where the satin columns are tightest. Email me if you have a size that doesnt fit your standard hoops and I can advise on which frame works best for each version.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
