5 sizes from 2.45 inches wide all the way to 5.23 inches. The puppy is on the left, the kitten on the right, both sitting side by side and wearing identical red santa hats with a little snowflake pattern stitched into the white trim band and a fluffy blue pom-pom on top. Both animals have those massive blue eyes that take up about a third of their face, which is kinda the whole appeal here. The fur rendering is dense and directional, grey thread laid in short overlapping rows to suggest texture rather than just flat fill.

6 colour stops, stitch range 13735 to 33927 depending on size. Thats on the heavier end for a design this shape, so use a proper medium-weight cutaway stabiliser and make sure your bobbin tension is right before you start the fur sections. The satin outline around both animals is one of the later passes, so if you rush stabilising its the outlines that go wobbly first. I've had a customer message me saying they ran this on a white fleece pullover and the grey animal coats practically looked like real texture with a topping layer on top. Run a test swatch first, especially on anything pile-heavy.

Reach out if you're getting thread breakage in the texture passes. Use a sharp 75/11 needle on tightly woven cotton, swap to a ballpoint on knits. Pop this on a matching pair of sweatshirts for a dog-and-cat household and Ive seen people do that for christmas family photos. Hoop snug, centre carefully on the front panel.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
