6 colors, 5 sizes, and its the peekaboo pose that gets people every time. The reindeer is just barely cresting the frame, antlers loaded up with red and green Christmas lights, those big goofy eyes looking straight at you like he got caught doing something. The wire strands loop between the bulbs in thin black thread, which is a really nice touch once its hooped up and on fabric.

The face fill uses directional satin in a warm tan-brown, with a separate brown layer for the deeper shading across the snout and ear areas. White highlights on the eyes, that big red nose, and then dark green for the light bulbs. Six colors total, 5 color changes, which honestly stitches out faster than you'd expect for how detailed it looks. One customer ordered the large size for a kids Christmas stocking last december and said her daughter thought it was Rudolph specifically, not just any reindeer. And that antler spread on the 6 inch version is wide enough that it really fills a stocking cuff properly.

Hoop with a cutaway stabiliser behind the fabric before you start, this ones got enough density around the face area that a tearaway wont hold it flat. Use the 3 inch smallest size on a pocket or sleeve, Ive run it on fleece and it holds the detail on the bulbs well. Skip the tearaway on knits or anything with stretch, cutaway only. Stitch a 6-inch chest on cream fleece for stockings and you'll see why people keep coming back for more christmas designs from this shop.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Kids Christmas stockings with the reindeer peeking over the cuffPosition the design across the stocking cuff so the antlers peek above the top edge naturally.
  • Holiday aprons for christmas morning breakfast traditionsWorks well centered on a bib apron front, big enough to read from across the kitchen.
  • Christmas pajama sets on the chest or sleeveStitch on the left chest of a matching family PJ set for a coordinated holiday look.
  • Festive tote bags for gift wrapping suppliesThe wide antler spread reads well on a flat canvas tote even at the mid-range sizes.
  • Childrens christmas cushion covers for the living room couchUse the largest size on a cushion front, the goofy face fills the center panel nicely.
  • Teacher gift pouches or zipper bags for the holiday seasonMedium size fits a standard zipper pouch front without crowding the zip seam.
  • Hoop art in a 6 or 7 inch frame for a nursery or kids bedroom wallMount the largest size in a round hoop with a cream or red felt backing for instant wall art.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
