Worked this one out because customers keep asking for reindeer designs that arent cartoony. This is a proper side-profile reindeer silhouette standing next to a pine tree, clean lines, no googly eyes, just the shapes. Cocoa satin for the body and antlers, sage green for the tree, crimson dot nose, and a tiny off-white highlight on the eye. 4 colours, nothing extra.
Set up in my digitising suite. The deer body uses directional satin so the leg outlines read clearly even at the 2.14-inch size. The tree uses layered fill rather than satin so it doesnt pucker when hooped on fleece or terry. Density is 666 overall, which is ligther than it sounds, the cocoa satin body runs denser, the sage fill is lower, they average out. 5 sizes from 2.14 x 3.51 inches to 4.57 x 7.51 inches, stitch range 10,975 to 22,864.
A customer recieved her files last week and stitched the 4.57-inch version across the chest of a navy hoodie, said the cocoa and sage read really clearly against the navy without fighting each other. Thats exactly why I picked that colour combination, dark base, earth tones, one pop of crimson.
Pair it on navy, charcoal, or forest green, the sage tree disappears on lighter backgrounds. Use cutaway stabiliser on fleece hoodies, tearaway wont hold the directional reindeer satin. Stitch the antlers last if your machine lets you reorder colour sequences. One colour. Done. Dm me if the file needs any tweaks.
What people are using this design for
A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.
- Navy hoodie chest design for a Christmas outfitHoop the 4.57-inch size on a navy hoodie with cutaway stabiliser, directional reindeer satin stays clean on fleece with a firm base.
- Kids sweatshirt or crewneck for a holiday eventStitch the 3-inch size on a kids sweatshirt front, small enough to fit a child chest without going off the edge.
- Canvas tote bag side panelRun the mid size on a canvas tote side panel with cutaway, sage and cocoa read well on natural or black canvas.
- Christmas stocking cuff on fleece or feltStitch the 2.14-inch version on a fleece cuff with cutaway backing, the small crimson nose stays visible even at that scale.
- Pillow cover centre on navy canvasCentre the 4.57-inch size on a navy canvas pillow panel before sewing, hoop flat and use heavy cutaway.
- Teacher or staff gift on a tote or apronUse the 3-inch chest on a pre-cut apron bib with cutaway, fast to stitch and works on any dark apron colour.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
