Skeleton hand giving Christmas the bird. Middle finger raised tall, other three digits curled into the palm, and the whole bony fist gets wrapped up in a strand of vintage bulb lights that loop around the wrist twice and dangle off the bottom with one extra bulb swinging on the wire. Cheeky as hell. The bones run in scribbled black outline and the bulbs sit in colour, very visible against the bone-white negative space.

Smallest 3.51 inch size lands at 5,075 stitches, the largest 7.51 inch goes up to 10,835. Six colours total, six stops on the machine, but black does most of the work at around 4,039 stitches on the small size. Density is 378 so it sits flat on cotton without bunching. The middle finger is taller than wider so the bounding box runs vertical, height range 1.79 to 3.82 inch, narrower than youd think. I built it in industry-grade software with directional underlay on the satin bone columns. Use a tearaway under cotton, cutaway under jersey, no exceptions on this one.

I get DMs about this design year-round, not just December. Last week one guy bought it for his bartender mum who works Christmas Day every year and wanted somethin honest to wear under her uniform. Stitched on a black tee, hidden under her shirt, only she knew. Said she loved it.

Best fabric pairings are black cotton, charcoal fleece, dark heather grey, navy. Skip pastels and cream, the joke needs contrast or the bulbs vanish. Hoop firmly with the design centred along the vertical axis of the garment. Add water-soluble topping for fleece sweatshirts so the satin bones dont sink. The 5 inch version drops neatly into a 4x4 hoop area if youre tight on space.

Ping me if you want the colours swapped before purchase and ill remap em.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
