Ten different threads in this snowman, which is alot for a single design, but thats what gives it that full illustrated look rather than a flat cartoon. The body fills with aqua tatami, the plaid scarf runs powder blue and red stripes, the green hat gets dark green holly leaves with a little pink berry cluster on top. The candy cane has proper satin stripes in red and white.
Five sizes from 3.44 inches wide spanning 7.36 inches. The largest runs to 63,391 stitches so its a substantial stitch-out. Density hits 1,147 which means you need a decent stabiliser setup, dont skip that step here. Use cutaway on fleece or sweatshirt fabric, tearaway is plenty for woven cotton or canvas.
Last christmas a customer ordered this design for 3 different sweatshirt sizes for her kids, she said they suprised her by asking for matching snowman jumpers so she needed small, medium and large all from the same file. All 5 sizes are included so thats sorted.
Pop it on a navy sweatshirt or a cream cotton tee and the 10 colours really come alive. Skip anything too dark like black or charcoal, it tends to swallow the lighter fills. Load your bobbin before starting because 9 colour changes means youre stopping and starting quite abit throughout the run.
