Christmas T-Rex Dinosaur Embroidery Design, Instant Download

Started designing the christmas dinosaur after I kept getting messages from parents asking if Id made something festive with a T-Rex. The brief was always the same, something holiday themed but with a dinosaur, preferably a T-Rex because of those kinda helpless lil arms. Full body in green scale fills, raised tiny arms, a santa hat tilted on his head, and an expression somewhere between fierce and cheerful depending on which way you look at it.

Eight colours packed in, green body with scale texture fills, red and white for the santa hat, cream or light tan for the belly highlight area, dark outlines and eye detail. Stitch count goes from 18,551 on the 3.5-in run up to 46,445 on the 7.49 inch, which is a big number but the body is large and the scale fills add up fast. Density is 826, really solid construction, everything stitches well and holds its shape. Youre gonna want a good stabiliser behind it.

People have been ordering from october onwards, parents making christmas pyjamas and holiday sweatshirts for kids who are realy into dinosaurs. One customer told me her son wore the hoodie she made him every single day in december and wouldnt take it off. Honestly thats the kind of message I like getting.

Use a cutaway stabiliser for all sizes, the 826 density body fill needs solid backing to prevent distortion especially on knit fabrics for kids clothing. On jersey or fleece pop a mesh topping on top to keep the scale detail and face features crisp. Avoid very lightweight fabrics for the 7 inch sizes, the dense body fill can pull the weave.
