A little bear sitting down, done in that sketchy cross-hatch style where the fill looks hand-drawn rather than solid. Brown shading across the body with lighter tones on the muzzle and inner ears, four different shades of brown and tan just in the fur work. On its head sits a red santa hat with an aqua trim band and white pompom, its got a candy cane held in one paw with a red bow tied at the neck.

Ten colors, 10 color changes, 28,426 stitches on the smaller sizing going up to 67,211 at the largest. Stitch count is high because the cross-hatch fur technique needs more passes than a flat fill. Hoop polymesh underneath when stitching on baby items or knit fabric, thats what keeps the fur shading from pulling off-register. Pop it on firm woven cotton and it runs fine with no special prep at all.

The aspect ratio runs taller than wide, which makes it useful for placements where a square design doesnt work. Stitch it onto a stocking panel before sewing up the sides, or center it near the top edge of a fleece blanket. I get a fair few orders for this one each november from people making nursery gifts for friends. Email me if the colors need adjusting for your thread brand and Ill suggest substitutions.

Reyazul Masud Riham, the digitizer behind Re Embroidery
Behind every stitch

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
