Classic christmas tree shape with the yellow star on top, red ornaments dotting the branches, and three small wrapped gifts piled at the base. The tree body runs in bright green with a brown trunk, the star gets a yellow satin fill, and the gifts alternate aqua and red with matching bow ribbons. Seven colours total, 6 colour changes across the run.

Five sizes from 2.6 inches tall at the smallest up to 5.56 inches for the big version. Stitch counts run from 13,682 to 35,984, so the large size is a real stitch-out. Density is 863 which is solidly filled but its not the heaviest project youll run all season.

I designed this one thinking about holiday kids clothes mainly, but honestly its ended up being just as popular for adult christmas aprons and tote bags. One customer emailed me right before christmas last year saying she suprised her whole family with matching tree sweatshirts and everyone wanted to know where she got the design from. Thats the kind of message I love getting.

Stitch on cream, white or navy and the 7 colours all read clearly. Avoid really busy fabric prints because the tree outline needs a clean background to work. Use cutaway on fleece or sweatshirt knit, tearaway on woven cotton works well. Pick a good medium-weight stabiliser for the gift section at the base since thats where the fill density is highest.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Kids christmas sweatshirts and teesThe 4.5 inch piece placed on a navy kids sweatshirt gives the classic christmas jumper look without any kit or transfer paper.
  • Holiday aprons and oven mittsStitched on the chest of a cotton apron it becomes a functional christmas kitchen gift that wont fade wash after wash.
  • Christmas tote bags and gift bagson a kraft shopper bag the tree and gifts scene works as festive holiday shopping bag that looks hand-made.
  • Matching family christmas shirtsThe same size across different adult and child shirt sizes ties together a family photo christmas matching look.
  • Seasonal pillow covers on cotton canvasCentred on a white or cream cotton pillow cover it adds seasonal colour to a neutral couch or bedroom setup.
  • Christmas pyjama tops for childrenOn a red or green flannel pyjama top the design gives kids a proper christmas morning outfit worth photographing.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
