Sketched in this christmas tree quote layout with the tree and text sitting side by side because stacking a quote above or below a tree gets cluttered fast. Here the 2 colour combination, deep evergreen for the tree body and walnut brown for the script, keeps everything calm and readable. The oat linen apron is where this one lives best, the brown on oat is almost monochrome, very considered, not shouting holiday at anyone. Works for people who want a seasonal stitch that doesnt yell tinsel at everyone.
Two colours, five sizes, 8,343 stitches at the small end and 17,744 stitches at 7.5 inches wide. The density sits at 471 stitches per square centimetre at max, so a linen apron bib needs a medium cutaway stabiliser, hoop the bib taut because linen relaxes under heat and a loose hoop will throw the text off the baseline. The satin columns on the tree needles run directionally, slightly inward toward the centre line, giving the silhouette that lil pointed-needle texture instead of a flat green triangle. Ive tested this on both linen and cotton canvas and it holds well on both.
Run the 7.5-inch on a full apron bib, the 5.5-inch on a tote centre, or ya can use the 3.5-inch run on a small fabric coaster set. One customer grabbed the medium size for a bunch of holiday gift bags last year and said the walnut brown on kraft paper bag handles matched unexpectedly well, that was a nice find. Use a light tearaway if youre stitching woven cotton; the file is optimised for medium-weight wovens.
Avoid stretchy knits, the satin tree fill will pucker without extra cutaway support underneath. Stick to wovens and you wont have issues.
What people are using this design for

- Oat or natural linen aprons for Christmas hostingThe walnut brown and deep evergreen pairing on oat linen reads as refined and restrained, great for apron gifts.
- Natural canvas tote bags for minimalist holiday giftsStitch the 5.5-inch centred on a cotton tote for a calm, non-loud holiday market bag.
- Fabric gift bags with walnut-toned ribbon tiesUse the 3.5-inch run on a small fabric gift bag, the brown-on-kraft feel pairs well with natural twine.
- Holiday hoop art for a Scandi-style homeThe 7.5-inch fills a 10-inch hoop for a wall piece that works in a Scandinavian-style or neutral holiday home.
- Cotton napkins with a corner accent stitchRun the small size on the corner of a linen napkin for a subtle festive touch on a Christmas table set.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
