Its a unicorn horn headband for christmas and Im not gonna pretend thats not exactly what it sounds like. Spiral satin twist running up a pale ivory horn, small gold highlight along the edge. Holly sprig on one side with two deep green leaves and a trio of red berries. A layered red bow sits at the base, and a couple of tiny white star sparks float nearby. The whole thing looks like someone combined a fairy-tale costume with a christmas cracker and I mean that as a compliment.
Seven colours: ivory for the horn base, gold for that highlight strip, two shades of green for the holly leaves, red for the berries, red again for the bow, and white for the star accents. Stitch count runs from 7,398 on the small 3.3-inch size up to 17,560 on the 7-inch version. The spiral is the most intricate section, its digitised with satin columns that rotate, so the stitching direction changes as it winds upward.
Hoop with a medium cutaway stabiliser for anything stretchy like jersey or fleece. On stable wovens like twill or denim youre fine with tearaway but honestly Im still gonna say cutaway because of that satin spiral at the top. Topping on fleece is a must or the satin columns sink and you lose the twist effect. Ive been digitising unicorn designs for years and that spiral section is always the first thing that goes wrong without topping. One customer told me she skipped topping on fleece and the whole horn came out flat, had to restitch it with a topping layer and it was perfect second time.
Email me a chat if the spiral digitising doesnt stitch out right and Ill look at the file for you. Skip dark fabric for the colour pop. Pop a firm cutaway behind stretch knits.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
