This ones got a lot going on and thats sort of the point. A round-bodied unicorn in a Santa hat, poinsettia flower up front, mane layered in pink and lavender gradients. The stitch density here is 1039 per square inch, which is dense but the file is structured so the underlay sequences properly and the satin columns lay down without pile-up. At the largest size this runs to 46459 stitches across a 5.96 by 7.5 inch area, so youre looking at a 45 to 55 minute run depending on your machine speed.
Ten colours means 9 colour changes throughout the design. The sequence goes from the body fill first, then the mane layers in order from base to tips, then the hat, poinsettia petals, leaves, and the small accent details last. If you want to reorder or skip any stops, most embroidery software lets you do that easily enough. Pair midweight cutaway with knit fabrics because the density will pull without it. On woven cotton a medium tearaway is fine.
Five sizes, smallest at 2.78 by 3.5 inch and largest at 5.96 by 7.5 inch. The smallest is tight to work at that density so I wouldnt go below a 75/11 sharp needle. Hooped properly with the fabric taut you shouldnt have registration problems across the colour changes.
A customer last december put this on matching mother and daughter christmas jumpers and it held up really well through washing. The mane colours didnt bleed because the topping and underlay were set right during digitising.
Drop a quick line if the file gives you any trouble and Ill have a look for you.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
