Its a unicorn and a reindeer in one face. Brown antlers framing a spiralled candy-cane striped horn in the centre, long curved lashes with no eyes underneath just the lash lines, tiny holiday-coloured star freckles on the cheeks, and a round red nose at the bottom. The design sits wide, landscape format, which makes it great for hat brims and shirt chest panels where you want something wide rather than tall. And its the kind of thing that stops people mid-scroll on Etsy listings.

my digitising suite handled the file across 4 colour changes. At 4.5 by 3.85 inches its 7,581 stitches. The smallest size at 1.5 by 1.28 inches runs just 2,343 stitches. The satin column work on the striped horn is the most demanding section in terms of density at 438, so use a lightweight cutaway underneath on any stretchy fabric. Four sizes total from 1.5 to 4.5 inches wide.

My customers have been buying this one consistently this christmas season. One customer last week told me she stitched the 3 inch chest on a matching set of christmas stockings for two daughters and a mum and theyre all obsessed with it. I get why, its got that magical girly energy without being too babyish. Stitch it on a pale cream or white cotton for the colours to show properly, the tan antler tones disappear on dark tan or brown fabric so skip that combo.

Use the smallest 1.5-in print on christmas cracker strip or on earring blanks for felt ornaments. Try the 4.5 inch chest piece centred on red flannel stocking cuff for a statement holiday gift. Avoid busy printed fabric, you need a clean background for the lash detail to read at all.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
