Sketched out this classic anchor rope design for people who wanted something more traditional than the super detailed tattoo styles. The anchor has a clean filled body, proper solid satin sections on the shaft and flukes, and a rope that loops through the ring at the top and hangs in a loose coil around the crossbar. 3 colours? No, just 1 colour, single black thread, zero thread swaps which keeps the machine running fast.

Five sizes in the pack, smallest is 2.50 inches wide and tallest in the bunch goes up to 5.34 inches. Stitch counts run from about 7,166 at the small end up to 15,805 for the full large. The density is set up so the filled areas have that proper satin shine without being so dense they puckerthe fabric.

I made this one specifically with apparel in mind, ya know the kind of everyday nautical stuff people actually wear. Polo shirts, linen shorts pockets, canvas bags. Works on cotton, linen and denim without issue. Hoop with a cutaway stabiliser if youre putting it on any stretch fabric, tearaway is fine on wovens.

A customer last month ordered it for a bunch of sailor-themed baby shower favours on muslin pouches and said the smallest size came out exactly right. Pop it on a left chest, use it on towels for a beach house, or stitch it across the back yoke of a jacket. Drop a line if the file doesnt load and Ill get you sorted.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Nautical polo shirt chestthe 3 in chest size on the left chest of a white cotton polo gives that clean prep school nautical look.
  • Beach house towelsStitch a row of the small size along the hem of a white cotton towel for a beach house set.
  • Canvas sailor tote bagsThe large 5 inch version centred across a cotton shopper is a simple nautical market piece.
  • Baby shower nautical favoursThe smallest size on a muslin drawstring pouch makes an easy and inexpensive baby shower favour.
  • Linen shorts pocket accentA 2.5 inch anchor fits neatly in the corner pocket area of linen shorts or chino trousers.
  • Jacket back yoke panelThe large size works well on the back yoke of a denim or canvas jacket for a maritime statement.
  • Coastal cushion coversHoop cream or navy linen for a cushion cover that fits straight into a coastal or beach house room.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
