This classic green laurel is the bottom half only in 4 sizes, the under-banner curve you see sitting beneath crest logos and shield emblems. Two short branches cross at the centre bottom and arc outward and upward like a smile, leaving the whole top half open for whatever youll put above it, a word, a number, a name in larger text. Solid satin-fill leaves in one shade of forest green, mirror symmetric, classic shape.
Single colour digitising, no thread switches. Tiny stitch counts because the design runs short and wide, just 1,785 at the 2-inch up to 5,845 at the biggest 6-inch (which is only 3.58 inches tall, fyi, this one is way wider than tall). Only 4 sizes digitised here: 2, 3, 4, and 6 inch widths. Density sits at 272, a touch denser than the open circle laurels, that gives the leaves a fuller more painted look on light fabrics. I built it in professional digitising software with directional satin underlay along each leaf stem.
One customer ordered the 4-inch in February for a set of valentines day mugs, no the mug couldnt be embroidered obviously, she put it on the canvas mug-coozies that wrap the cup. She layered her partners name in a big serif font above the laurel arc, the result looked like a movie poster credit. It works great as a base shape, doesnt fight with whatever text sits on top of it.
Best on cotton, twill, canvas, linen, and fleece (with topping). Use the smallest 2-inch size for hat brims, cuffs, sleeve cuff details. Pair with text 1.5 to 2x the laurel height above it. Hoop firm and add cutaway behind any stretchy knit. Avoid putting any design inside the laurel itself, theres no closed space here, the magic is the negative space above. Email me if youre after a version with the arc inverted (top half only) for layered designs.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
