Just a proper clean classic soccer ball, the kind that works on basically everything sports-related. Round with the black pentagon patches and white hexagon panels, thick black outer circle. Nothing kinda clever about it, and thats exactly why it works. Im still getting orders for this design week after week from team kit coordinators, sports coaches, and parents doing a quick personalised gift.

Two colours: white goes in first for the main body fill, then one stop and in goes the black for the patches and the outer ring. The density is on the higher side, around 1,049 stitches per square inch at the 4-inch size, which means its a properly filled solid design and not an outline job. Stitch at 4 inches on a white cotton canvas tote and it looks exactly like a proper badge. Use a medium tearaway stabiliser on standard wovens, no topping needed.

Sizes go from 1 inch all the way up to 4 inches. Pop the 1-inch on a shoe tongue or a zip pull, or go right up to 4 inches for a kit bag centrepiece. Stitch count at the largest is 16,788, a decent run but the satin coverage is worth it. Last spring a customer ordered this stitched at 3 inches on twelve navy canvas kit bags for his whole youth team, and he sent me a message saying the panels were still clean and sharp after a full football season of weekly washing. Thats the cutaway stabiliser doing its job.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Kids' sports kit bags and drawstring backpacksThe 2-inch version is popular for kit bags, small enough to repeat across a strap or add to a zip pull.
  • Football team uniform patches and jersey numbersAt 3 to 4 inches it works as a sleeve badge on a team polo or training top.
  • Boys' bedroom pillow covers and sports-theme beddingStitch onto a pillowcase at 4 inches centred for a simple sports-room pillow.
  • Boot bags and shin guard pouchesSmall boot bags in basic canvas take the 2 or 3-inch version really cleanly.
  • School sports day loot bags and prize ribbonsPrint the name alongside and stitch both onto a simple tote for school sports day giveaways.
  • Coach gift towels and referee accessoriesA 3-inch ball on a white waffle towel is a go-to coach gift that always lands well.
  • Soccer camp t-shirts and end-of-season awardsCamp coordinators stitch these on the chest of plain tees for a quick, recognisable branding hit.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
