Mocked this one out as a 2-color heart thats also basically a tiny coffee menu. The outer shape is a clean heart, and then inside its completely packed, words and little icons arranged so tightly theres almost no breathing room. You get the word Coffee in the biggest font right in the centre, then Espresso, Cappuccino, Cocoa, Americano at different weights around it, plus smaller labels like Milk, Enjoy, Love, Break Time. The word sugar sits in a little black rectangle like a packet. Scattered between all the text are 5 actual icons: a croissant in the top-left, an iced cup with a straw on the left, a cupcake and a round ceramic mug lower down, a glazed donut on the right. Little red heart shapes fill any gaps. Two colours total, black for most of the design and red for the alternating words and hearts.

Pop a medium cutaway under the hoop before you start because at 640 stitches per square inch the fill density is quite high and a tearaway wont hold it flat on the smaller sizes. She sent me a photo last christmas of the 4 inch version she'd done on a terry kitchen towel as a holiday gift and honestly the detail held better than I expected on that kind of loopy texture. The 5 sizes run from 4 inches wide up to 8 inches wide, and the stitch count goes from about 16,600 at the small end to just over 35,000 at full size. One colour change, black stitches first, then the red.

On lighter fabrics like natural canvas or white linen, both colours read really well without any topping. On dark fabric the red pops fine but the black lettering blends in, so stick to light or mid-tone base colours for this one. Use a 75/11 sharp needle on wovens. For the 8 inch version you'll want a 240mm x 150mm hoop at minimum, check your machine specs before you commit to that size.

Pop it on a kitchen apron as a gift for someone who runs purely on caffeine. Stitch the 5-in across a canvas tote for a barista or a home espresso obsessive. Use the 6-in motif on a linen tea towel set as a hostess gift. Reach out if the size isnt quite right for your project and Ill see what I can do, sometimes the proportions matter more than people think.

What people are using this design for

A starting point. The design works for plenty more than just this list, this is what folks have stitched it onto most.

  • Kitchen aprons for coffee lovers and home baristasThe 5 inch size centered on an apron bib fits most standard aprons without trimming the design.
  • Canvas tote bags for cafe staff or gift setsFour inch version on a canvas tote panel makes a clean gift alongside a bag of specialty coffee beans.
  • Linen tea towel sets as hostess or housewarming giftsTwo or three tea towels with the same 5 inch design makes a cohesive hostess gift that actually gets used.
  • Cafe and coffee shop branded merchandiseThe design prints well on a transfer too if you need iron-on versions for cafe promo merch alongside stitched ones.
  • Mug rugs and small quilted drink coastersUse the 4-in face on a thick felt or vinyl base and bind the edges for a quick mug rug coaster.
  • Sweatshirt chest placement for casual everyday wearThe 5-in centred on sweatshirt chest is casual enough for everyday wear, not just kitchen use.
  • framed hoop piece for a kitchen or breakfast nook wallAt 8 inches on natural linen stretched in a 9 inch hoop it reads as a proper piece of kitchen wall art.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
