Heres the colourful rainbow splash burst at 7.5 inches across and its loud in the best way. A round abstract paint explosion that throws droplets in every direction. Red and hot pink on the left, yellow up top, lime green and sky blue down the right side, with white flecks scattered through the centre. Looks like someone dropped a bucket on a glass plate and froze the moment.

Each ray is digitised as a satin column with directional stitching that follows the splash, so the light catches different angles when it moves. Tiny droplets sit between the bigger rays, keeping the shape from feeling empty. And the inner core stays denser while the outer drops thin out, which is what makes the burst look like its still flying. Modern art-studio vibe, abstract but recognisable.

I drew this one for an art teacher friend who wanted something for her studio aprons. She sent photos last month and the splash on a black canvas apron was unreal, every colour popping off the dark background like neon. So if youve got black, navy or charcoal stock laying around, this is the design for it.

Stitch on solid woven cotton, denim, canvas tote or fleece. But skip patterned fabrics, the rays already do alot visually and a busy backing fights them. White and pastel shirts work too if you want a softer look, just expect the white flecks to disappear into pale fabric.

Ten colour changes, biggest size hits 39,781 stitches, smallest sits at 17,524. Back with mid-cutaway, hoop tight, and dont forget to slow your machine on the dense centre rays or itll pucker. Let me know on chat if any colour stop reads weird and Ill patch the file overnight.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
