Drew this color splash dove design from the idea of a bird releasing colour into the air, not wings exactly, more like an explosion of paint arcs frozen at the exact moment they fan outward. The body stays solid black so the nine colours really pop against it. Sky blue, hot pink, teal, orange, yellow, purple, all layered and curving away from the center. Stitch it on a white tee or a natural canvas tote and the whole thing reads like a sticker that shouldnt be able to exist in thread but somehow does.

A customer last week told me she couldnt believe how clean the colour transitions came out, I hear that a lot with this one. Thats down to the professional digitising software digitizing, I dialed the density on each arc so the colours dont bleed into each other on a normal cotton stabilizer setup. Pop it on medium-weight cutaway for best results. Stitch count goes up to 31,199 at 6 inches because of all those colour arcs, so give yourself a bit of extra stabilizer. The 4 sizes range from a compact 3 inch patch to a full 6 inch statement piece.

Use the colour chart in the PDF to swap any of the nine shades for something that fits your fabric better. Download hits your inbox as soon as payment clears, zip file with every format inside. Unzip it first, dont try loading the zip direct into your machine, I know that sounds obvious but I get at least one message a week about it.

Holler if something doesnt work on your end and I'll sort it out, file issue, wrong download, whatever it is.

  • Denim jacket back panel or chest pocket accentSolid black body anchors the design on dark denim so the colour arcs do all the work.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
