Heres a heart that came in hot. Big glossy red heart sits in the middle, shaded with hot pink highlights and a slick black outline curling through the centre. Around the edges paint splashes burst outward, blue and yellow on top, magenta and pink dripping down off the bottom. Long drip trails fall like the colour cant hold itself together.
Style is street art meets a classic valentines design. The heart has glossy comic-book shading so it reads three-dimensional, not flat. Splashes use directional satin to mimic actual paint motion. Drip trails are skinny tatami columns with running stitch outlines, gives them that liquid feel without going chunky.
I made this for valentines day prep last february, one customer wrote me asking for something that wasnt cute or pastel. She wanted bold and graphic for a punk-leaning gift line. Sent her the splashy heart and she put it on black tees that sold out in eight days. Honestly im suprised how many shops have come back asking for graphic valentine designs since.
Stitch on dark fabric to let the colours scream. Black, charcoal, deep navy or burgundy work hardest. The drip trails read best when theres dark space around them. Skip white or pale pink because the magenta and red flatten out. Skip stretchy knits aswell, the long drip columns will pull on jersey and the splash satins will lift.
Density runs heavy at 55544 stitches on the 7.5 reach size, smaller sizes start at 19604. Use a heavyweight cutaway stabiliser, no shortcuts here. Trim every colour change because there are 18 thread stops and stray jumps will show up through the splash colours. Hoop tight and run a wash-away topping on knits. Reach out through the chatbox if a satin column lifts on stretch fabric.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
