Right so heres the abstract parrot head and its painterly proper, not photoreal not cartoon. Side profile of the parrot looking right, the crest feathers fan up and out across the top of the head in straight strokes, each feather rendered as one bold colour stripe. yellow on top, then magenta, teal, navy, leaf green, hot red, all crashing into each other where the head curves.

And the beak is the showstealer for me. Top half goes orange to magenta with a thin pink stripe running through, lower half drops into pale teal and creamy yellow, blue brush strokes streaming off the chin like wind. Big amber eye sits centre, ringed black, with a comma-shape highlight catching the light. Real gallery art feel, looks like someone painted it with a flat brush and just kept going.

Best fabric is plain cotton, linen or canvas in cream, oatmeal, sand, charcoal or even dark navy, the bright colours hold ground on darker backgrounds aswell. Skip patterned cloth obviously, the design itself uses 15 colour changes and theres alot of visual conversation happening already without a print fighting it.

Densest sections sit around the beak satin and the eye fill so Place medium cutaway under, mesh wash works on lighter cotton totes. 9 sizes from 2.23 inch wide to 4.79 inch on the largest hoop, stitch counts run 11k smallest up to 28k largest. Run polyester thread to keep the magenta and teal saturated through repeated washing. Test on scrap before the final piece, atleast on the bigger hoops where 15 colour swaps add up.
