This isnt a cutesy cartoon cat. Its more like something from a fashion illustration, the kind of graphic you'd see on a designer tote at a market. Hot pink satin for the main face and ears, aqua and periwinkle wavy stripes running through the lower half of the face, one sharp gold eye, and long whisker lines shooting out from the muzzle like they mean business. The white base layer underneath makes everything pop cleanly. Very graphic, very bold.

The file came out of the digitising software and gave the directional satin on those wavy cheek stripes its clean finish. Getting them to curve without pulling was the tricky part, I had to plot the underlay angle carefully so the satin lays flat and doesnt bunch at the edges. Density is 374 across five sizes, from 2.8 inches wide at the smallest up to 6 inches wide. Stitch counts run from 7,911 to 16,808 so its not a heavy file at all.

On a white or black background both work really well, I was suprised how different it looks on black. The pink and aqua thread colours just glow against dark fabric in a way they dont on white. One customer asked me about running it on a black baseball cap and said they got stopped in the street asking where they bought it.

Drop midweight cutaway behind on woven fabrics and a tearaway on stiffer structured items like caps or tote bags with a firm base. The whisker lines are long satin runs so you need the fabric flat and taut in the hoop. Skip stretchy jersey on this one without proper topping.

Great for tote bags, caps, zip pouches, denim shirt pockets, and cushion covers. Cat mum gift. The kind of piece people actually notice.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
