Suprisingly difficult to get an eagle portrait right in embroidery and this one actually nails it. The crown feathers use proper directional stitching, not just a flat white fill, and the brown neck plumage fans out below with real tonal depth. 16 colours, so youre getting actual variation in the brown sections rather than one flat block. The beak is sharp yellow with a hard satin edge and the eye has that cold focused raptor stare that makes a bald eagle portrait actually feel alive.
4 sizes from 4.49 to 7.48 inches wide, height runs 3.78 to 6.3 inches. Stitch count 11,932 to 23,429. Density is 497 which is noticeably lighter than most portrait designs of this complexity. So it stitches up quicker than youd expect and doesnt leave a heavy stiff patch on the fabric. Pop it on dark backgrounds like navy, charcoal or deep olive and the pale crown feathers really jump off the surface.
I made this one for patriotic apparel and its also great for wildlife lovers, outdoors brands, hunting themed gear. A customer ordered it last july for a batch of custom baseball caps for a veterans reunion and said the feedback was genuinely touching.
Use cutaway stabiliser on all fabric types here. 16 colours means alot of starts and stops and you need the fabric locked down firmly. Avoid white or cream backgrounds since the pale head section wont read clearly. Works on cotton, canvas, denim, fleece and heavy twill. Heavier fabrics suit the weight and seriousness of the design.

About the artist
Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site
Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.
That's the joy I work for.
The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
