Its a proper bouquet, not just a few balloons in a row. The cluster builds up with balloons at different heights so some peek out from behind others, and the strings all twist together below the bunch the way they actually do when you grab a real balloon bunch from a party shop. Seven colours in the build including red, yellow, blue, green, magenta, coral and white, which is the reason this one runs up to 32,061 stitches at the biggest size. Thats a serious stitch count but its what makes it pop the way it does.

Mapped this in professional digitising tools with density at 802, and the satin fill on each balloon needed careful directional stitching so the individual balloons read as separate rounds rather than one big blob. Sizes run from 2.45 inches wide up to 5.7 inches wide, heights from 3.01 to 7.01 inches, which gives you 5 options to choose from. Smallest comes in at 10,344 stitches. Layer a sturdy cutaway stabiliser underneath, theres alot of colour changes happening and you need the fabric held firm so nothing shifts between thread swaps.

My customers order this one all year for birthday projects, not just for kids either. A customer this past april told me she ran the 5-inch on a white cotton tee for her mums 60th birthday and it looked like something from a boutique. Lay wash-away film over terry towelling or any kind of loopy fabric, the satin needs a clean surface to stitch into. Pop it on white, cream, navy or black, and all 7 colours read cleanly.

Pick the 3 inch size if youre doing it on a pocket or a small pouch. Go bigger at 5 inches for a shirt front or tote bag face. Avoid putting this on dark grey or olive because the lighter balloon colours can look washed out.

About the artist

Reyazul Masud Riham, hand-drawing every design on this site

Every design on Re Embroidery is hand-digitized by one person. Each file gets sketched, color-matched, and stitch-tested on real fabric before it earns a place in the shop. No team. No auto-conversion from images. Just slow, deliberate work, sometimes three or four days per design.

That's the joy I work for.

The hard part is finding my designs re-uploaded and resold elsewhere. So when you buy from Re Embroidery, you're paying one real person for the file you're about to download. That matters.
