Three thick concentric arches, outer band in tomato red, middle in forest green, innermost in golden orange. Chunky boho proportions, not thin delicate lines, more like a lil architectural piece sitting on the fabric. Around the outside of the rainbow and along the base theres small hearts scattered loosely, some solid in red or green, some barely-there pale pink outlines. One heart sits right at the base under the inner arch like a lil anchor point.
Five colours total, 4 colour changes. Stitch count is 11,536 at a 3-in mini size and 34,680 at the full-size 7.5-inch version. Each band uses satin column fills, kinda really satisfying to watch stitch out, and the density of 842 means theres real texture when you run a hand over the finished piece. Nine sizes, widths 3.5 up to 7.5, heights 2.56 to 5.49, so it sits low and wide in that classic rainbow proportion.
Really popular for gender-neutral nurseries right now. I get orders for this in bunches around baby shower season and honestly it sells year round because the colours work on everything. One customer last spring used it to make a complete nursery set, onesie, bib, cot bumper panel, and a canvas banner, all matching, and she sent me photos of the finished nursery. Looked brilliant.
Run on natural cotton cotton for the brightest result. The red and green sing on white muslin, its honestly the best colour combo for it. Avoid yellow fabric because the orange arc disappears into it. Pair tearaway with medium cutaway under any jersey or stretch, the band fills can bow outward if theres not enough backing. Hoop snug. Skip topping unless your fabric has a pile, dont use it on flat wovens.
