Its a border collie face done in full pop-art mode. The actual dog structure is there, the long snout, the alert eyes, the thick collar of fur around the neck, but over all of that someone threw a bucket of paint. Teal floods across the left ear, purple runs through the forehead, yellow and red burst across the right side. Drips hang below the chin like the design is still wet on the canvas.

Ten colours means ten thread changes but this is one of those where its worth sitting with your machine because the result is worth it. Directional stitching on the fur patches runs at angles against each other so youve got a proper shaggy texture, not just flat colour blocks. Ive been really proud of how industry-grade software handled the density layering on this one. Around 51k stitches at 7.5-inch, most of em in the fur fills. The white blaze down the centre of the face acts as a natural divider between the colour zones.
